Customer Review: Increases the addiction to my music!
My sole intention to get a new computer was for listening to music, which means that I had to accompany that with a large flatscreen and then, good sounding speakers. I picked the Bose because I was familiar with their products in the past. When I suggested a relative use computer music for her hair salon, I advised that she get Bose. That was my first time hearing the power of good speakers. That’s all I need, to hear good sound for the Itunes, IPOD, and YOUTube. I love the sound of the speakers. There is a large unit that I store underneath, and then you have the two small speakers that fit comfortably on the computer stand. Also, the small round unit called the multifunction control pod provides the capability for Mute and Sound, earphones. My issue with the control pod is that there is no indicator that lets you know where the level of sound is. This can be disturbing, when all of a sudden, a boom is heard because of varying sound decibels. These speakers can be mounted, but I find it easier just to place them on the stand. Adjustments are available, but I haven’t the need yet to make any sound adjustments yet. The speakers and unit are attractive silver. Setup was simple. Customer Review: If you like colored music buy them
Bose uses basic drivers and adds electronics (equilizers) to customize the sound. Some like it,some don’t. I personally don’t. I grew up with the stereo system as being critical to producing accurate sound reproduction. However, the digital media has not helped because it has produced compressed music and lower sampling rates which actually loses some of the music.Bose, does almost as bad by coloring the sound to make listeners believe it sounds good.When in fact it does not even come close to being a good reproducer of the content.Now, I am not saying all these user’s who say the Companion 3’s are great are wrong. I am certain they believe they sound great. My problem with them is they have too much bass too little midrange and highs that drop off too early.This is from measuring the sound through a tone generator and using a sound meter.I certainly think they are good for movies,gaming and watching web content. But I certainly do not like them for music.

Customer Review: DON’T!!!
DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy this thing! Unless you’re willing to fork over bucks just to toss it into the trash. I know the price is attractive, but mine didn’t even last a month before it quit working. I know electronics these days are made to throw away rather than repair, but give me a break. It should last longer than a couple of weeks! I have a dLo brand that I bought 5yrs ago when I got my first iPod, and it’s still going strong! Granted, I paid much more for it, so I suppose the old addage certainly applies here. I bought this product cuz my lazy butt didn’t want to move the transmitter from one car to another, but now I’m doing that again! Next time, I’ll spend a little more to get something worthwhile.

After reading reviews on several types of charger/transmitters thought I’d give this one a try. For the price if nothing else it will charge my ipod in the car. Sound quality not great- a lot of static/popping- radio generally sounds better. From other reviews that I read sound is usually better in more rural areas(less interference?)Quality of item in general not great- plastic feels light weight, like it would be easy to break but for the price item seems okay.

The Perfect compliment to my home theater system. I have a very basic setup, my two 3 way Bose bookshelf speakers and now this center speaker, and as Bose has always advertised, they fill the room with crisp clear, movie theater sound with only three speakers. Well worth the investment. Word of warning, a lot of people have negatively reviewed this speaker, IF YOUR HOME THEATER SYSTEMS DOES NOT HAVE A BIG ENOUGH AMP THIS SPEAKER WILL NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY. A lot of people have said that the speaker is really quiet, keep two things in mind, when setup properly a center speaker is meant to COMPLIMENT the sound of your other speakers giving you a full acoustic range, its not meant to be used as a PRIMARY speaker, also if you have it hooked up with cheap “walmart” speaker wire, don’t expect the product to function to the best of its ability.

I purchased a IMP500 battery backup for my iPhone and iTouch before I left on a really long trip a few weeks ago. I went thru airport security with no issues. I connected the battery pack when my iTouch battery died and it worked great! I was able to continue watching my movie and get a quick charge at the same time. When other people saw me using it, I became very popular. I even shared it with a few other iTouch and iPhone users who needed a quick charge on the plane. When I was between flights at the airport terminal, I didn’t have to walk around searching for a seat near an electrical outlet to plug in my wall charger. Received this imaxpower IMP500 battery pack and I was very pleased with light speed shipping speed and also product quality. But I found AC charger was not included in the package, I learned AC charger wasa advertised in the video. Contacted customer support and requested for high charge speed AC charger. We’ve had these speakers for almost 10 years, and they sound as good as the day we bought them! My husband installed them around our pool, so I can’t say how easy that was… except I don’t recall a lot of swearing. Anyway, they truly are all weather as we leave them out year round. Living in the midwest, we get every kind of weather you can imagine and these speakers hold up to it all. The sound is excellent, the base is great. Make sure you use a heavy, good quality speaker wire and you’re good to go! I’m purchasing a pair for my daughter for Christmas today!
